Via Amazon: Sponsored Advertising Budgeting Impacted (Advertising Console and Advertising API)
Date of Alert: 2020-11-25
Impact: All NA advertisers with sponsored ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Displays) campaigns.
For the impacted advertisers, Sponsored Ads budgeting system is not able to perform correct budget capping since 7:00 PM PST, November 24, 2020. Advertisers might see overspends happening on their sponsored ads campaigns. However, the overspends will not be charged to the advertiser and will be given back as Over delivery credits (ODC).
Start date of impact: November 24, 2020 at 11AM UTC+0 (November 24, 2020 at 7:00 PM PST).
End date of impact: Expected before EOD today, November 24, 2020.
Symptoms: API consumers may see overdelivery on cost and sales metrics for Sponsored Ads campaigns as of November 24, 2020.
Actions/Workaround: None required at this time.

Impact: All Amazon advertising ad products.
Start date of impact: November 25, 2020.
End date of impact: We will provide an update by 3 PM PST or notify you once the issue is fixed.
Symptoms: API consumers may see delays in reporting and campaign creation across most Amazon Advertising products. API consumers may also see issues with ad delivery for Sponsored Display and Amazon DSP.
Actions/Workaround: We are currently evaluating full impact. We don’t yet have an ETA for when functionality will be fully recovered. Look out for further communications detailing functionality impacted or issue resolution.
