New Features from Downstream

Parent and child ASIN relationship now visible on products page

Released on 01/16/2020

Downstream now allows users to see performance of products at the "parent" and "child" level for products with variations. When a product has multiple variations of the same product, such as different colors, sizes, pack sizes, etc., the products are all grouped on one product detail page. The "parent" is the main version (e.g. Boot A) with the "children" as each variation underneath the parent (e.g. Red Boot A, Blue Boot A, etc.). With this change, Downtream now allows you to see the advertising metrics summed up to the parent or as individual child ASINs. On the Products page, you can expand a parent to see the children using the "Plus" icon on the left side of any parent products. You can still search for labels, ASINs, and other attributes of the child in the filters.

Note: if a child ASIN seems to be missing from this view, it is most likely because the child is not actively being advertised.
