Ability to Choose a Target Campaign for Recommended Keywords
Released on 10/25/2019
Amazon provides advertisers a search term report, which gives visibility into the search terms that are entered by shoppers searching on Amazon and resulted in at least advertisement one click. Downstream leverages this data to suggest new keywords that should be added to your campaigns to improve overall performance.
When this feature first launched the suggested keywords feature, users could only add suggested keywords to the same campaign from which the search term report was generated. As of today, users can now choose to add suggested keywords into a different target campaign. This facilitates the use case of using auto targeted campaigns to harvest the most critical search terms, then adding the best performing keywords to a manual campaign for more sophisticated management.
Follow these steps to start adding suggested keywords to your Amazon Advertising campaigns:
Click the Keywords button in the left navigation
Click on Suggested Keywords tab. This will display the suggested keywords that have been harvested from your existing campaigns.
Click the Add keyword button to add the keywords to either the campaign it was sourced from or another target campaign of your choosing.
