New Features from Downstream

Ability to Define Brand Groups for Easier Filtering

Released on 12/02/2019

Downstream users can now create brand groups for Shelf Intelligence charts and graphs. Prior to this feature release, users were limited to selecting a single brand to display in Shelf Intelligence charts. This made it difficult to unify data from brands with slight variations in spelling, (e.g. ACME and ACmE).

Brand groups allow you to define sets of brands you want to analyze together for easier filtering

As of today, you can combine theses disparate brand spellings to see the collective performance of the group. Furthermore, you can also select a color for the brand groups so your brand group will display with your chosen color across the Shelf Intelligence page and any Dashboards with SOV data.

The group can be created, edited, and deleted all from the "Feature brands" filter found in the Shelf Intelligence page or any dashboard widget with SOV as the datasource
