Advanced Budget Control Automation Capability

Advanced Budget Controls is a new automation capability that gives users the ability to schedule daily budget changes for both Sponsored Product and Sponsored Brand campaigns. For example, Advanced Budget Controls allow customers to:

  1. Schedule campaign budget updates by day of week (e.g. schedule Monday's campaign budget to be 2.5X the typical budget).

  2. Distribute budgets evenly throughout the day to ensure ads continue to be placed into the late hours of the day.

Advanced Budget Controls make administering Amazon advertising campaigns easier during scheduled events like product promotions, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Prime Day. Campaign budgets need to be higher during these events, which typically means advertisers need to be at their keyboard to increase budgets at the start of these events. Another pain point during events is advertisers need to continually monitor campaigns budgets to ensure they're not exhausted, and replenishing as needed. Advanced Budget Controls solve for both of these use cases by allowing advertisers to schedule budget changes in advanced and evenly allocating total campaign budget across the entire day.
