Better Management of Dayparting Profiles
Released on 06/18/2020
Downstream has had support for Dayparting profiles for some time now, however until this release, users were not able to manage their Dayparting profiles from a centralized location. With this feature release, users have better overall management experience for Dayparting profiles.
Before getting into the details of the feature, an important change to note is using a profile is now mandatory when enabling Dayparting on a campaign. In an effort to promote campaign management best practices, campaigns no longer support direct Dayparting settings. If you had Dayparting settings previously enabled on a campaign directly, you'll notice these settings have been migrated to a unique set of profiles.
Here some of the highlights for this new feature:
Summary page where users can view all Dayparting profiles in their account. Access this page by clicking "Automation" in the left navigation.
Dedicated Dayparting profile page. From this page, users can configure the Dayparting settings for the profile, see campaigns that are associated with the profile, and enable/disable automation for associated campaigns.
Ability to filter by Dayparting profile on the campaign summary page
We'll be following up this feature release with profiles for ABC Automation, ability to delete profiles, and the ability to apply profiles to campaigns in bulk.
