Campaigns

You can update Campaign State or Campaign Budget. You can also add, remove, or create new Campaign Labels.

Products

You can add, remove, or create new Product Labels.

1. Navigate to the Updates page

Get to this page by clicking Updates in the top-right navigation, then View All in the sider that slides out.

2. Click Upload & Import CSV

This button can be found in the top right of the Updates page. Clicking on it will open a modal:

3. Download a template to edit before uploading

Select the type of download (e.g. Campaigns, Products) and apply any filters to narrow the focus of the update. Then click Download .csv with existing data to initiate the download.

4. Open the CSV, and apply changes

Your download can be found by clicking on Reports in the top right navigation. Learn what to edit in the CSV to apply changes.

5. In the modal: Select fields to update

Our system will look for changes in any of the fields you select.

6. In the modal: Click Upload & Import CSV, and attach your edited CSV

That's it! You can review your changes by clicking Updates in the top right navigation.

Before you start editing, you'll need to download a CSV template. Follow steps 1-3 in the article above to learn how to download a CSV template.

Once you've opened the CSV, there are 3 fields to you can update:

1. Campaign State (if you've selected Campaigns)

2. Campaign Budget (if you've selected Campaigns)

3. Labels

Update Campaign State

1. Find the column titled campaign_state.

2. Change the text of any cell in that column to make an update.

3. There are 3 states that you can change the campaign to: enabled, paused, or archived.

Update Campaign Budget

1. Find the column titled campaign_budget.

2. Change the text of any cell in that column to make an update. Copy the formatting of the rest of the cells: no currency symbols, 2 decimal places (e.g. 250.00)

3. The currency corresponds to the currency of the campaign.

Update Campaign Labels

1. To add labels or create new labels: Create a new column called add_labels, and delete the campaign_labels column.

2. Add labels to any cell in the add_labels column, separated by comma (e.g. label 1, my label 2, New label 3).

3. Any labels that don't exist in your Downstream Organization will be added as newly created labels, and will be assigned a color. You can modify this color in Downstream after your upload is complete.

4. To remove labels: Follow the same process by adding a column called remove_labels, and deleting the campaign_labels column.

Update Product Labels

1. To add labels or create new labels: Create a new column called add_labels, and delete the product_labels column.

2. Add labels to any cell in the add_labels column, separated by comma (e.g. label 1, my label 2, New label 3).

3. Any labels that don't exist in your Downstream Organization will be added as newly created labels, and will be assigned a color. You can modify this color in Downstream after your upload is complete.

4. To remove labels: Follow the same process by adding a column called remove_labels, and deleting the product_labels column.
